TBS Books is simple accounting for small UAE businesses. Install it once on one Windows PC. Your team of up to 15 people then uses it from their own browsers on the office network. Your data stays in your office.
What it does
The everyday accounting a small office needs.
Built for UAE businesses first, with Arabic and English on every screen.
Invoices and bills
Sales invoices, supplier bills, credit and debit notes, with PDFs in English, Arabic or both. Products and services fill in each line for you.
UAE VAT built in
VAT is worked out on every line. The VAT 201 return is built from your posted entries, with a check that ties it back to the ledger.
Payments and balances
Record what customers pay and what you pay suppliers, match payments to invoices, and see who owes what with ageing reports and statements.
Foreign currency
Invoice in USD, EUR or any currency. Keep daily exchange rates for the whole month, import them from a file, and gains or losses post automatically.
Users and roles
Each person signs in with their own account and sees only what their role allows. An activity log records who did what.
Daily backups
Automatic daily backup, a second-copy folder option, and a restore test, so you know your backup actually works.

No cloud subscription and no internet connection needed for daily work.
Install on one PC
One setup file for Windows. It runs quietly in the background and starts again on its own after a restart.
Set up your company
A short setup guide asks for your company, VAT number and date format, then loads a ready chart of accounts. A separate demo company lets you practise first.
Your team signs in
Colleagues open the address on any office computer, for example http://accounts-pc, and sign in with their own user.
Made for UAE rules
Books you can trust when the FTA asks.
The rules below are enforced by the system itself, not left to the user to remember.
- A posted invoice or bill can never be edited or deleted. Mistakes are fixed with a credit note or reversal, so the history stays complete.
- Tax invoices carry the details UAE rules require, including your TRN and VAT per line.
- Opening balances go through the same checks as normal entries.
- The VAT 201 return is built from posted entries, with a readiness checklist before you issue an invoice.

When can I download it?
Not yet. We will share the download once testing is complete. Email us to be told when it is ready, or to join early testing.
Will it cost anything?
Our plan is to offer TBS Books free of charge. The final licence terms will be published before the first public release.
Does it need the internet?
No. Everything runs on your office network. The internet is only needed if you choose to copy backups to an online folder.
Where is my data kept?
On the PC where you install TBS Books, inside your office. It is not sent to TBS Group.
How is it different from TBS ERP Suite?
TBS ERP Suite is our full business system with CRM, orders and more. TBS Books is smaller: accounting and VAT only, installed on your own PC for a small team.
